What is a hosted infrastructure?
In a traditional network, client computers access data from a central server and run the applications on the PC. Each client computer is actually running the program itself, using its own memory and processing power. Data that is needed by the client must be pulled over the network before it can be examined.

CIAC uses a different way of connecting clients. It works more like mainframes did in the pre-PC days. The difference between the traditional model and CIAC is that the server is actually running all of the programs and the client computers are simply acting like “terminals.”

CIAC uses a technology that allows many client computers to access and run programs on a Windows Server. Unlike a traditional PC network, the server is really running the program. The screen images are sent to the client computer (or terminal) and the keyboard and mouse commands are sent back to the server. This allows for high speed operation and a reliable centralized source for all of your corporate data and collaboration needs.
What does ON-SITE provide?
ON-SITE will provide you with all of the equipment and basic software necessary to operate your business. At no cost to you. That's right! We provide the server, terminals, software and licenses you need to get up and running. We will even migrate your existing data to your new server. At no additional charge.
What do I receive?
Here are just a few of the benefits you will receive from us:

A desktop for each user - with your applications and access to your corporate data

Hosted Exchange Server - this benefit provides shared calendars, shared task lists, internet and inner office e-mail, public folders and a whole host of other beneficial and time saving features.

ON-SITE will provide you with enterprise level security including firewalls, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam , Anti-SpyWare and Web Browsing controls. You will also have access to our help desk.
What if I have multiple locations?
No problem. Because your new CIAC server is hosted with ON-SITE, anyone of your team members that can access the web are able to get onto your server 24 hours a day seven days a week. Imagine all your remote workers and offices working on the same data in real time. Have you ever wanted to work from home? Now you can. The same desktop you see at work is the same desktop you see at home. It is like having all of your workers, regardless of location under one virtual roof.
What is CIAC?
CIAC is a hosted technology platform solution. CIAC is a solution that is providing enterprise level computing architectures to small and medium businesses alike. CIAC is a cost effective alternative to owning and maintaining your own LAN (Local Area Network).

With CIAC you will no longer have to worry about the continued costs of upgrading your computers. You will no longer need to worry about constant network administration and support costs. CIAC offers a company piece of mind and freedom from annual technology expenditures. At last a company can set their IT budget for the year and know with reasonable certainty that there will be no more costs, hardware replacements or surprises.
How is this all possible?
Simple, CIAC provides a stable work platform for all of your users. And, ON-SITE Hosted Services provides the hardware and software required to perform most of your day to day tasks. Because we are the technology solution for thousands of users, we are able to offer unequaled support and service.
How does it work?
ON-SITE Hosted Services provides each customer with their own server or servers if you need more than one. These servers are hosted and maintained in our secure data center. We load all of your proprietary software’s like QuickBooks™, PC Law™ and other software you use every day on the server.

We provide you with the latest version of MS Office™, MS Server, Anti-Virus protection, Ant-Spam protection, Anti-SpyWare protection, firewall security, backups, and secure access, as well as all your maintenance and support. And that is just on the server side.

For the workstation we provide you with WYSE™ terminals, monitors and all the expertise required to keep them running. We will configure the new terminals to access your new hosted server. Once this is done you are on your way to business piece of mind. Or if you prefer, you may continue to use your own PC’s until they are obsolete or require repair. At that point we will replace the PC with a WYSE terminal. Your choice.
What is a WYSE terminal?
A WYSE terminal is known as a thin client. WYSE is the manufacturer of these devices. The terminals are diskless. They do not require hard drives or any moving parts that can break down. And because all of your data and programs are operated from your dedicated CIAC server, you do not have a need for a PC any longer.
Can I access my information from home?
The answer is yes. Not only can you access your information from home but from any location that is internet ready. If you can get on-line you can get to your new CIAC server. You can even access your mail from any web-enabled PDA or cell phone.
Can I use SQL driven software?
Yes you can. CIAC provides access to a SQL server. Our trained engineers can aide in the setup. We also insure that your information is constantly backed up.
What about E-mail?
Part of the CIAC experience is access to MS Exchange Server™. This will allow you to have us host your company e-mail for you. You will have all of the functionality of a large company when it comes to scheduling, contacts and collaboration.
How do I get started?
It is simple. Either call us at 888.575.4001 or submit a request to be contacted on our Contact Me Page.
